Yoga came into my life well over twenty years ago in Asheville, North Carolina. After taking classes in the Iyengar and Kundalini Yoga traditions, I found Vinyasa Yoga in 1998 and fell in love. In May of 2000 I completed my training with Stephanie Keach of the Asheville Yoga Center, and have been teaching and training since this time. In 2004, after having my first child I completed a comprehensive Pregnancy Yoga teacher training, also with Stephanie Keach. Since this time I have been blessed to study with prominent teachers such as Noah Mazé, Deb Neubauer, Betsy Downing, Desiree Rumbaugh and many other respected yoga teachers. In October of 2017, I completed an additional 300h Berlin based teacher training with Noah Mazé.

As an Acupuncturist, I love the efficacy of TCM or Traditional Chinese Medicine and it’s many useful modalities. From Acupuncture,Moxabustion, Herbal Medicine, Cupping, Lifestyle and Dietary advice as well as the inclusion of Reflexology - you can be assured that your treatment will be multilayered. My Licenciate was earned with The Acupuncture Foundation of Ireland  from 2010 to 2013.  In October 2013 I travelled to Nanjing, China for further study and invaluable clinical experience. In 2015 I completed an additional two year Professional Diploma in herbal studies; which provides not only an additional way of working with internal medical conditions, but in many cases offers a perfect take home partnership to in clinic Acupuncture treatments. In addition to these larger trainings, I continue to study yearly with inspirational teachers such as Jeffrey Yuen (channel theory), Henry McCann (Tung Acupuncture), Brad Whisnant (Tung Acupuncture), Anthony Lombardi (Extore Motor Point System), Rich Hazel (Motor Point Acupuncture for pain) and Elizabeth Rochat de la Vallee (Women's health cycles) , Yvonne Farrell (Extrodinary Vessels) and Debra Betts (Pre and Perinatal studies).

Since my first pregnancy in 2003 I've spent hundreds of hours training in, teaching about, and offering treatments to better women's health. My passion for working in this field was ~and continues to be~ sparked by personal experience and it's been an honour to share the work that I do. Specific childbirth related trainings include:
